Black has to be one of my favorite colors. You can't go wrong with it. I thought I would rock the all black look. I am becoming more and more obsessed with sequence. Especially if its on the shoulders. I got this shirt back in Maryland at TJ Maxx. Once I saw it, it was mine. I posted this shirt before Im sure. I found it crammed near the back of my closet. Another fashion piece that I forgot I owned. I put it on with my big harlem pants and rocked it.

I wasn't going to blog today but I made time. I was thinking, by the way, this is off subject from my outfit. I kind of don't understand why nice people always come last. Sometimes I feel my sweet personality does nothing for myself...I don't know..

Secret Mission For Rose (The BFF)

Im on a mission today to find the perfect....well...dress.

Rose needs a red dress. So I am on the look out for her. She wants something simple and so do I. Im not sure what we are going to pick. So far I see very little. But thats the challenge Im willing to take. I got Rose a little gift as well. I know everything sounds a bit confusing. But soon It will all make since. Im kind of running around the subject. Bottom line I need to find my buddy a red dress...

1.) The Classic Casual Woman

This is so extra. I know she would hate this dress. Rose is not into the dramatics like I am. I love dresses that drag. But then again I don't see her in anything so..."extra"..I see me buying this for myself...not her...

2.) Beach Flowing Girl

I like it for Rose, but Rose is short. I thing it will drag on her and I know thats not what she wants. I think its a pretty dress but it does not scream "elegant" or "classic". Yet, Im a big fan on how the halter is cut..

3.) Laced All Over Seductress

Unfortunately this dress does not come in red. If it did I would be sold. I think Rose would like it as well. You can't go wrong with lace. But its a solid black, so it loses on color alone.

4.) Red & Black Tease

Maybe a little to vintage for Rose's taste. I think I like this better than all of the rest. Its not to much, its just right. I love the lace on the shoulder. This would be perfect for her.

5.) Tight & Casual Elegance

This is sick. But it doesn't scream perfection. Next...

So my taste, not hers. She needs something more sexy and classic than dainty and cute.

Happy Monday! For some. Im sorry if I offended anyone. Most people hate Mondays.

What does my day consist of? Babysitting, cooking dinner, and cleaning up this place. Because it looks awful. I partied pretty hard this weekend. Greg and I stayed up pretty late and watched movies. We are a pretty simple couple. We don't need much. Kylie (my daughter and homegirl) is growing before my eyes. She now grabs her feet and tries to put them in her mouth. Pretty classy I know. I love her a lot. She amazes me everyday. I love it. Im ready to do taxes but my tax lady will not answer her phone, maybe Im to early? Who knows?

Back to fashion. I got this awesome shirt. Super awesome, I love the print. Its pretty sunny for the weather out on the east-coast, but on the west-coast it is very appropriate. Its very sunny and breezy here. I love it. Its very flowy and light. And I paid seven bucks for it...

The Attack Of Spikes & Black: Lisbeth Salander Version

Its been awhile. If I could jumble up everything that is going on I would but ti would take forever. I moved first and far most. Same apartment complex, just different number. We got two bedroom for the little boobooski and the move was pretty, fast. I love the new place. Its almost a new start. Moving was kind of a bitch actually. I hated it. Greg moved every piece of furniture with no help. Either way, we got into the new place nice and easy.

I've been gone for a minute.

But Im back..

So fashion wise, I am totally obsessed with leather and spikes again. I don't know, maybe its the weather. I was all boho and now I feel like switching it up again. Whenever it gets cool I go gothic or very vampire-esk. I told myself I can't "go there" this year. I will need to tone it down.

But reading the new book The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo....made me wanna wear spikes and chains even more. I saw the movie as well. Man it made me wanna shop. Im starting to think I fell in love with the character Lisbeth Salander more than the actually story. But after seeing it I really really wanna dress like her, not to that extreme, but something like it.

This outfit is all Torrid. The leggings I already had in green but they were on sale. I thought of my girl Kiah who blogs as well, I remember she told me she got those leggings too. I paid full price for my green ones and half off for these. I love leggings. These are kinda big but I bought them anyway...

My Bestie Rose: Today Was A FairyTale....

Like I said. So much has happened. Moving, bring a mother... Another change was Rose and her love life. I brought up the fact many of times that Rose was in a long term relationship. She was dating a "guy" for about seven years total. I even posted some pics of them two going to Vegas together. Well, it did not work out. How can I say this? Hmm? Well. Rose and him were highschool sweethearts but for some reason, the "guy" became what me and Rose call a parasite. They suck the life out of you. I told Rose maybe twice in her relationship with him that she seemed sad with him. She would tell me she was fine and I did believe her. Rose is not one to give up on a relationship. Her loyalty is true. She will stand by whoever she cares for. But eventually the relationship came to a pause. And if you have a best friend, you know, that when they go through a breakup..so do you. Even I was sad that the relationship ended. I knew the "parasite" very well. I was cool with him. But after a month of the relationship ending, my Mom bought Rose a ticket to escape and to come see me. So Rose came to Cali for Christmas.

Now here is the GOOD part. Tee Hee. My husband Gregs bestfriend Jason was planning on coming to see us. He lives in Vegas. He is Airforce. We dropped a hint that Rose would be coming down as well. My husbands best friend Jason is someone I knew since I was eighteen. Me, Greg and Jason and his girlfriend at the time (who I still talk to and is a good friend) hung out almost everyday in my late teens. Basically, long story short. Jason and Rose..clicked.

And I mean..CLICKED.

California Feathers: Willing To Fly...

Everyone in California rocks feathers, maybe the whole thing is viral and every state is doing it, but I always see feathers everywhere. I love it. Anything earthy I love. And since I have the hair for it, I buy it instantly. What can I say.

About two weeks ago Torrid had a sale with all the leggings, and I live in leggings. They had a brown pair and an army green pair. I bought both for 4 dollars, normally twenty. I also bought these tribal leggings that I have not even wore yet shockingly. They are black and white and look like my other tribal leggings that I own. I need to wear them. I just have not put the outfit together to rock it. Maybe I'll pop tags this weekend.

The shirt is from Torrid, on sale for ten dollars. Apparently someone bought it online and took it back to the store. And lucky me, I snagged it. Never been much of an internet buyer. Its light and very silky. Like most Torrid shirts. Also, the weather is pretty warm outside, good beach weather. Of course its never cold here, well, not to me...

But I do miss buying scarfs and hats...

I hardly do anymore since moving here, I miss long scarfs and mittens....

So I got this awesome feather clip for my hair from Everything 5.99 Store that is down the street from me. I got for a dollar and I love it in my hair! Its colorful and cute. It looks good with colorful makeup as well. I know Im on such a feather kick, but I can't help it...

UPDATE ON BOOBOOSKI:

I feel like she is 9 months, she seems pretty mature. Very relaxed baby. My neighbors ask why she never cries. She is a cool chick. She must get that from the hubby because I predicted she would be a dramatic monster. But either way she is cool and fun. Many moms like the ones I met around here told me it will "get better" once she is older because she will be more independent. I hate to say it but, its not very hard now..."shrugs". I don't mind changing her diaper or giving her a bottle. I know, I know...I don't have a crier or a winer so I don't know what Im talking about. But she is very cool. I got to know her and i "get" her. Her personality is very silly and relaxing, she likes not drama and hates to be wet or stinky. She likes to watch t.v and likes to cuddle all the time. I thought this was gonna be hard, but maybe its because I like the girl and she likes me. She cracks me and Greg up all the time and she laughs with us...

Update: Just Me & October....

I didn't want to be one of those people who disappear for awhile and come back, but hey, theres a first time for everything. Time has been flying, and its November already. Things are changing like the leaves I swear. Greg and I have been going out a lot lately. Trying to get back into the swerve of things. We still go to the mall, or go out to new places we haven't been before, everything is still fun, just we have a new person that hangs out with us. She is everywhere. I look over and she is chilling in the cut while we eat. Watching our every move. Its weird. Greg and I do so much together, and now to have someone with us at all times, its crazy. I do like it. Because its something I created, well...we created. Its just so funny. Greg and I constantly now sit on the couch or bed and reminisce about when I was 18 and he was 21. How we had no idea, that we would be "here".

October was busy, and Im thinking November will be the same. Its getting a little cooler out, but not cold. Halloween was a blast. I basically have no fashions to but up, just proof of what I have been doing the past days. Greg has been getting off a bit earlier and we go out a lot more than intended.

Everything has been fun and busy.

Oh please believe, I do have my moments when I ride out by myself. I love hanging with the family. But sometimes Im off on my own. And man its kinda weird. I never understood when "Moms" would finally leave the house and leave the baby behind, and they claim that they would "miss" the baby and want to come home. Now, I kinda get that. I mean, Im not completely missing the boobooski, but I am thinking about what she is doing while Greg is baby sitting her. Or I'll find myself shopping and stopping to think about her some more. I mean, I get in my car and drive off still wondering if she got warm socks on or if her bottle is ready to go when she is hungry. Yet, I feel Im suppose to be yelling out the window "Who Hoo Im Free!". But it so does not feel that way. I told my Mom about that and she laughed her ass off, and then said "Welcome to motherhood."

Over the weekend we did our normal ride to the ocean. Im not sure about East coast but its pretty warm out here. At night it can be a bit breezy and even smell like snow, but don't be fooled. It will be 70 degrees the next day.

I didn't see it coming....as dumb as it sounds...

You never really think someone would just go one t.v. and fake a whole relationship for money. But everyones saying thats what she did. I must admit. He does not look her type at all. And we all know Kim K has a type. Dark and handsome I may say. The guy shes married to Kris is such a bumpkin. I don't know he seems so doofus and dumb. But on the show he seemed to really like her, and she seemed to like him! But she said in her statement that she felt it was the wrong thing to do, to marry him. She felt it in her heart and she felt she was on a rollercoaster ride that she couldn't get off!

Housewives have not officially came back on yet, but I'll show the t.v shows that are on and Im loving right now. In order. Another reason why I have been m.i.a, I have something on t.v. to watch these days...

5.) GLEE

I have to admit, I still like the show. Even though its kinda cheesy sometimes with all the changes and so-so screenplays. I love the singing most of all. Thats why I watch. I wonder what song I will know. As far as the story lines, they are kinda iffy. I expected more from Glee especially this year. Its kinda the same story over and over again, maybe they need new people. Im down for that, but Im a sucker for the music.

4.) American Horror Story

This would have been number two but has slowly falling into the number four stop. So far this series has gone everywhere, so much that I do not know where to look. I feel there going crazy with the screenplay as well. Funny because Glee producers are on this show. Its up my alley because of course I love ghost and horror movies so much. But Im confused on who is a ghost and who is not, who can see the ghost and who can't. There kinda losing me..

I'll keep watching, but its so in your face and strange...they need to start explaining thing more..

3.) Once Upon A Time

Rose and I love this show. A group of people in a town not knowing their fairytale folks because of an evil curse? How better can it be?! I love it. And its getting better and better each episode. Very juicy! If your a chick and use to rock all the disney princesses this is your show. This would be number two but a certain show is coming back on...

2.) Kim & Kourtney Take New York

I hate the fact I watch this crap, but I love it..I can't lie.

1.) The Walking Dead

One of the best shows since LOST. The acting is superb. The graphics are so believable. Its touching and heart-renching all at the same time. I LOVE this show. Greg does as well. We wait till its nine and we pop popcorn and relax still the show starts. Its amazing and brutal...

The best show I have seen in a long time.

I was feeling under the weather yesterday, only reason why I did not post. But here I am now. Feeling quite better than before. Life is soaring right now. In a great way. Im very happy. More than I ever been. I finally realize how important family is. Its something you surely can not buy. And I am starting to see what faith is, a little better. Thanks to Greg. Mr. Positive. I never met anyone with such a positive outlook on life. I am not gonna go on and on about Greg on this post. But he sure is a different person I have NEVER met in my life. He is so .. different. So the opposite of me. I admire him a lot.

I don't think I tell him enough... I really don't.

Alright, enough with my life...

On to fashion. I bought this shirt around Columbus Day. It was that far back. I loved it when I saw it. Beautiful print and glitter all on the shirt. Plus it was off the shoulder. I got it for twelve dollars on sale. Torrid had that amazing 50% off thingy that I love. They should have it every friday or something. Its such a good feeling seeing the price get lower and lower... Almost as good as...we'll..I won't say that...(wink wink)

But while taking these pics, you can't see the pure texture and shine to this shirt. I turned the flash off and turned it back on, and I still couldn't get a cool shot of this shirt. The colors seem muted when u take a picture of it. Hopefully, you can see what I see.

I paired this up with a long skirt from Torrid which was also on sale for fifteen dollars. By the way! I love skirts that go all the way to floor. The kind that do not show feet! I love that, I want my skirt to drag...thats just my thing...so this skirt was perfecto!

And of course the star of the show was these feather earrings...

with earrings this big or long, I only wear one.

So Evanescence's album was great!

When I first listened I was not so sure. But then after a few listens, I fell in love.

Yeah, its gothic music, kinda new age, but Im all about it. Her voice sounds almost like opera. I adore Amy Lee. This album seems darker then most of her past albums. She sounds a bit angry but more sad.

I love it.

Is it worth buying? Yes! I love this album so much and I hate the fact she out did Coldplay's album. Coldplay is sounding okay, I mean, Im still waiting for it to grow on me.

But so far Evanescence is the winner.

Get this album...if you like Metal/Gothic music...

Quick outfit of the day! I adore TJ Maxx, lately they have been doing the damn thing for me. In fact, all department stores have! I seen so many shirts there that I loved. I saw this one and I knew it was coming with me. It was 14.99, but I did not care, I knew it was coming with me. I found another one in the bunch that I needed and bought that too. I need to calm down. But man, these stores are having what I want. Im guessing the whole tribal look is for everyone, because its not hard now finding tie dye shirts and prints.

Three reasons why I love this shirt:

1.) It has leopard in it and Im all about leopard.

2.) Its flowing, and I love huge sleeves that look flowing.

3.) You can wear this with jeans or a dress, it can be worn anywhere...

I wore it with jeans. I have several pants that could make this very upscale but today, I want a chill look and I want to be cute. Its very earthy and looks hella good against my skin. I love it. I know I will walk back to TJ Maxx and find this for ten dollars. But hey, I couldn't wait.

Its Sid & Nancy with a hint of Amy Winehouse & Blake. The lighting is yellow and tanished, almost like a cheap 80’s film. Drugs are all over the place like valley of the Dolls. And I loved it. I felt in love with same man in the video, I saw her relationship with Chris Breezy and she melted it into this beautiful dark and twisted video. Something like a requiem of a dream. Yeah, that relationship is over and done with, but comes back to life in this video. This video shows how love can be evil, fun, crazy, insane and light all at once…

Right On Target: Whatever Happened To Lindsey????

Halloween is pretty much here! Im excited. Im not to sure what Im going to be doing. I tell you one thing, I love going on the guide on the television and seeing movies like The Shining and Cuju on. It makes my world a happier place. Great weekend as well, I sat around watching Walking Dead while doing chores around the house. Finally around five I popped a squat on the couch and watched The Walking Dead marathon. The premiere of season two started last night. I love that show. It gets me emotionally as well. I love it. Last night, I found myself typing to myself. Just feelings gushing out. Thoughts about things I haven't really thought about. Sometimes I feel so caged in. Like something creative wants to lash out and fly out of me. But there is no door. I want to draw but I always stop. Its becoming not as fun anymore. Its something I can do, and thats it. Is that strange...

I was reading this one girls fashion blog and she is a fashion major. And she feels as if she is not in love with it anymore. What happens when you lose love for something your good at? Sometimes, I will be on Tumblr and I see art...and its art that could be mine. For example, I draw women all the time. So does the rest of the world. What makes me different. I see these pictures of the same girls I draw, and some of my stuff is ten times better than their...but they get paid for it. And have galleries...I don't know..

I just feel no different in the art category...I use to feel original...

but now I feel like just another spice, lines up on the rack...

Never turn your back on Target, you will be surprised what they might have for you. The dress I am wearing cost 6 bucks...yes...6 dollars. It was marked down to 19.50. But the sales gave me a real hook up. Whoop Whoop! I love the corset front. It fits great. I wore the dress with some MC Hammer pants. I love them! They were only 4.99 at Torrid when they had their 50% off clearance sale. Love those as well. My favorite part is the earring. Ugh, to die for. I love long ass earrings. Very comfy look. And the MC Hammer pants have pockets! Yay! Love it...

Golden Blues & Hues: A Musical Month

I completely forgot about this store I use to go too. It's called Everything 5.99.

I have not been in about a year, I stopped going after awhile. Something told me one day to go back there and check it out, and boy did I ever. They had this awesome top there and there jewelry was to die for! And all jewelry was only a dollar. YES! A dollar. I got this super awesome earring for a damn dollar. Now please let me explain my taste on earrings.

The bigger the better.

I do not like small ass earring. I never ever wear studs of any kind. I like huge, bold or long earrings that are different. I do not care if the earring go all the way to my hip, I WILL wear them. I love the dramatics.

So the shirt was 9.99 at Everything 5.99...yeah, I know, what a contradiction.

And the belt, I got from another shirt. Torrid has this great thing were anything with a belt...will come off, and you can use it for another outfit.

Whoop Whoop!

I loved the colors in this so much. I saw a purple version of this, but decided to stick to the blue. Usually I go for purple hands down, but good thing I stayed with the blue....because the earrings matched perfectly...did I mention they were a damn dollar?

Also..

I went back to get twenty dollars worth of earring, I didn't get that much, but I did buy some more...You can't beat that...

African Graffiti Wallz: You Make Feel That!

This weekend was pretty awesome. I planned on staying in and not going anywhere, but things changed. Great sales were all around this weekend given Columbus Day. He was an asshole but hey, at least we can all can get good sales off his dumb ass. The outfit Im wearing is not from one of the amazing sales I caught. I actually paid full price for this shirt that Im rocking right now. I did not mind. I wanted to treat myself. I paid 15 for it. Ugh, I know, but I love the colors! The turquoise blue and purple sold me.

I also had a field day at this store called Everything 5.99. I talked about this store before and posted some clothes from them as well. I haven't been back in awhile and decided to head up there to see what I have been missing. The jewelry there is only a dollar and the jewelry is....to die for. Very pretty and freaking cheap! A dollar! I bought so many pairs of earrings and necklaces, it ridiculous. But I only paid a dollar, so it wasn't that silly.

So over the weekend,

we all went out and ate at this awesome Mexican restaurant. I took the Boobooski and she did pretty well. I was the most paranoid person in that restaurant. I always hated that person who sat next to me or behind me with a crying baby. I was afraid I was gonna be that chick. I ate super fast and I knew I looked funny. Yet, she was quiet. She is not a bad baby. Yet, she did scrunch up her face a couple of times and we had to toss pacifiers in her mouth just in case. Other than that, she was great. She also tends to bring alot of attention (which Im not use too). Everyone went on and on how she was such a good baby...

Im glad they noticed...

Hello October: Stripped Shirts & Pencil Skirtz

What a murky California day. Certainly not your regular San Diego type of day. It even drizzled a little. Not a day for stylish hair styles and short shorts. Its pretty funny seeing Californians rocking cowboy boots and coats with lamb on the collar. Its still at least seventy degrees here people. But thats how they roll...

I want to make October my bitch but Im not in charge of that unfortunately. But a girl can dream. Today is such a chill day. Im rocking a breezy hobo look, regular denim stretch jeans, and some stolen nautical leopard flip flops that were taken from my Madre. Pretty regular day. I bought this shirt about a week ago. The same people that made my leopard shirt that I posted a week ago made this one. And yes, its from Marshalls...

I have been planning on doing my hair for about two weeks now. Excuse the god damn hat, but my hair is a mess. But the best thing about bad hair days, you get to wear all the hats and beanies that you bought that just sit on the floor in your closet. Some of you ladies know what I mean. I have dreds and usually you can not have a too bad look with dreds. Given the fact your hair has to be real messy in order for it to dred. But Im telling you, my hair is killed. I have to find the time to do it, its like, literally, terrible...

Ihave this want to listen to Gloria Estefan. Don't ask why. Actually I know why. I saw her on The View the other day. I swear that Conga song is playing something fierce in my head. I love it. I need a Gloria Estefan moment. I love that "Turn The Beat Around" song. I need a karaoke machine right now. Oh and how can I forget "Live For Loving You" song? Omg! So Im obviously buying the hell out of flowy big arm shirts. Yes it has become somewhat of a addiction. Plus Im sure you can find me at any Marshalls salivating and panting around their clearance section. I found this shirt for 11 dollars on sale originally 19.99. You could imagine my face when I saw that mark down. I love leopard. Its animalistic and very sassy. It also looks really freaking good with my hair. Leopard screams "Don't fuck with me" yet "Come dance with me all night". You can not fail with spots. Ever.

Silk printed leggings, glitter-tastic all black hat, amber-brown dreamcatcher earring (just one) and some gladiator sandals that complete the look.

I could not find my patten leather pumps to save my fucking life, so I had to mix up the outfit, but it still came out cute...

Phew what a week. Busy all the time. This weekend should be nice. Greg and I got the new X-Men movie on dvd and Transformers on blue ray. Should be an entertaining weekend. This is random but I feel like someone handed me a baby. Like, literally. Handed me a baby and said "She is yours." I guess because I never had the whole...labor thing happen. Zero pain through out my pregnancy and while so called delivering her. I look over at my baby and think.."Whoa, I have a child, is this real." I think because my water never broke, I did not push her out, when I got that shot in my lower back I felt nothing, I was literally laying there and someone came around and said "Look, you baby is here!" Plus, recovery was a damn breeze besides having a hard time laughing because of my c-section scar. I got cut on a friday and was walking to walmart and eating tacos on Monday...what the fuck??

Monday I usually blog. But life caught me by the balls and pulled me back. Ouch. Im back though, I knew tuesday would be the day to blog around eleven thirty yesterday. Everything kept coming up, but thats life right. I think this is the most busy I even been since...well...school. When I was a full time student. But even now, seems a little more busier. To say the least.

So I said I had a sexual escapade with Marshall's lately. For some reason they decided to put everything I loved on Clearance...No complains there! They had this awesome shirt that looked pretty "adult" and "modern woman". It had stripes and sheer sides on the sleeves. I dunno, it looked very mature, and I was digging it. So I pulled back the price tag and saw it was marked down to seven dollars...originally 19.99...

Sold.

No its not much, but I love it! Im all about sheer sleeves, I kinda saw this type of shirt on Chelsea Lately...

So over the weekend, Greg was putting in one of our netflix movies and on the t.v. was the Food Network. I looked over and saw this guy making some blueberry pie with basil leaves and goat cheese and for some reason my mouth started watering. And I made it myself...

For some reason. Woman hate hearing other woman saying this. You would be surprised all the secrets woman keep in. But one thing I know that women hate is the subject of their weight. Not just weight in general. But another woman being comfortable in their skin. It eats them away. Of course not all women. There are the normal females who congratulate others on weight lost or people who are comfortable in their own size. Yes, there are some nice normal women out there (somewhere). But most hate hearing your a larger size and you are comfortable in that size. They freaking hate it.

So I say that to say this. I think I like my body.

There was a period where I was not sure. Because I would look in the mirror and have to guess if I like what I saw. I would agree that I would like to loose wight, then turn around and feel fine with what I looked like. But now, these days. I think I can finally say it. And mentally I think I finally got to the point where, I do honestly love my body.

Yeah, I had a baby. Maybe this helped me learn that I love my bod. I dealt with so many changes and still though I was cute during that transformation. I think I just accepted I love "myself". Took long enough. Yet, still Im am not perfect, I have mad stretch marks, my stomach bulges out, my arms are flabby, but...I still think I look fine. Or maybe I just lost it?! LOL!

I finally made it. Because loving yourself in the double digits is a challenge. Especially having a mother who is a fitness queen. But even she says I look beautiful, which maybe gave me that boast of confidence in myself. I don't know you guys. But Im liking what I see. I feel beautiful every morning. Don't get my wrong. I look at Beyonce and Rihanna and sometimes double think with myself. But what woman doesn't turn their heads at other women's bodies and compare sometimes. Skinny girls wish they had some ass, while big girls wish they had less. What a creed we are. We as woman. Society has built us to hate one another and compare our lives and looks to everyone. Its what we don't talk about.

So I have realized I adore my body. I love the lumps, and the curves, and even my belly that hangs over my jeans. I know to some Im not that big but you would be surprised what I am told. I love my xxl pants and shirts. I look beautiful. I finally honestly think so. And Im glad I finally got here. Self hate can be a bitch. A freaking monster.

But I think at 26 years old, I finally jumped that hurtle.

I can't lie. Greg makes me feel very very pretty. Even when Im in sweat pants and a stained tee shirt with bad breathe. I feel totally sexy around him. I can't lie, and this might sounds bad, but he made me love my body even more. He really did. Its nice when your other half compliments you everyday and stares at you like when you first met. He still hits on me and smacks my ass as if I was 18 again. I like that. And it makes me feel...

Great.

I found this awesome shirt on clearance for 12 dollars. Totally awesome. I love kimono style shirts. Or any shirts that have huge ass sleeves. Sloppy-go-happy shirts. Thats what I always call them. This shirt just so happened to have the print I love. I found it in a couple of sizes. The bigger the better I say. I love shirts that slide off the shoulder. Oversized shirts that look a bit too big. This shirt is not that sloppy given the fact the sleeves are pretty oversized themselves. So I just got a 2x and left it at that. They had a 3x but, the shirt is already loose on its own. Didn't wanna over do it.

The skirt is from Ross. Hey, what can I say. I like my legs a bit. I have no shame in showing some knee. I love wearing skirts and combat boots. Its like the biggest contradiction in the world. I love mixing cutesy colors with mad ass things. Like floral tops with leather jackets, or pink dress with all black rugged converse...

Shopping has been rare, I must admit. But I do what I can. I seem to be more busy then usual. Well, given I had a new baby, life has made a total turn around. I would say for the better. I would have never thought to say that. But now looking back. I honestly couldn't figure out what the hell I was doing. I mean, I was doing things..but honestly...not really. This is the first time in a long time that I have major responsibility. This is the first time where Im busy all damn day. I kinda wasn't very busy with anything before, besides school, and I was barely passing that (math, mainly)...

Life has been going great so far. I have no complaints. Change is good. No one wants to be doing the same thing over and over. Even though, people sometimes want you in the same spot all the time and don't expect anything to change. I see that a lot. People look at me when I was eighteen and expect me to be the same person at twenty six. Then again, people see me when I was twenty one and STILL expect me to be doing the same shit I was doing then. Its pretty pathetic. Things change people. But I swear people hate that. Okay. So today is a good day.

Yeah its Monday and people work, go to school, raise kids, what have you. Its your average day.

But I feel good, better than normal.

So far everything is going amazing, as according to plan. I miss my Mom and Dad being around, I must admit. I never thought I would day that. Usually I love my own space, I like being alone. But not this time. My Mom and I bonded pretty close. I can tell she sees me now as a woman and not much as a child. I mean, so much has changed. So much. We sit down as women and laugh and tell jokes. I love it. I miss her. I really do. Now that everyones back in Maryland, life here is back to normal. Im a mother, a wife, and Its becoming more and more real each day. Its a place I did not think I would be. I look on the bed and see Greg passed out and see the Boobooski laid out on top of me. How quickly we became a family.

Normally, things would get under my skin. Life would get under my skin. But now things have to be different. I know sometimes I will have to remind myself, that the only important factor in my life is my child. What I mean by remind myself is, I can get lost in bullshit sometimes. As we all do. But I will try not too. I look over at her now and feel an innocence. I want to keep it that way. Greg told me not to fill my energy up with bad energy, because she will feel it. Thats the last thing I want. I normally get so caught up in such ignorance and bad chi. I don't want that for her. Especially not from me. I don't want her to gain any bad vibes. I just want her to be happy and loved. Thats all.

Misery loves fucking company I swear to god, and I always seem to be the first on the invitation. We all have our demons. I just voice mines.

Me and The Homie.

This weekend rocked. So much was going on. It was nice riding in my car again. I was not able to drive it for a bit. I use to turn down the music given the fact I was preggo, I did not want to damage her hearing the way I blast music...(myth but wasn't taking any chances). But this time I turned up Kanye and Jay Z's Watch The Throne album loud as I could. I went to look for clothes for Booski and got some Blockbuster Movies previously previewed. So nice. I wore jeans again, no stretchy leggings for my belly. I wore a nice size large shirt and it went over my chunky belly with no pregnancy bulge. I felt back to normal, and I liked it.

I don't wanna be too out there. This is my first rodeo. I hope Booski enjoys, even though she wont know what the hell is going on. But she will when she sees pictures. LOL!

Post Marshalls Look: Prints & Tints

Whats up peeps.

Its gonna be a bit hard posting this post given my Mom is here watching my every move. She hates me on the computer, so I have to mind her. Can't blame the fact she wants my attention. Which is fine, I won't see her till Christmas. She leaves Thursday and my Dad left today for Maryland.

It was a good time, some parts were ... interesting. My dad hates being away from home and without his football. My mom well, she's being a Mom and giving me advice every six minutes. It been good, yet alot to take in.

So my folks and I went shopping and one of the stores we went into was Marshalls. The baby got some cool stuff, and I happened to sneak a shirt in while shopping around. A couple actually. Marshalls had a good clearance rack, and I made sure to take at least one good deal. not to mention a good deal on a pumpkin costume for Ky. This shirt I purchased was only eleven dollars and I loved the print. Like a blue and beige print. Check the flowing arms.

And yes, this is a week after the pregnancy...

Im not skinnier or bigger if you ask me, Im the same size. I know breast feeding is suppose to make you smaller, but, I still look the same to me.

Set Fire To The Rain

So today we had the blackout from hell. I almost lost my mind with no power. It really blows me for a loop that the week my parents come, the heat goes super up and then the whole county of San Diego goes out. Everything just shut down. And mind you, Im in Marshall's at the time with my folks, Boobooski, and Hubbers. The lights just shut off. The whole town was shut off. I swear it was like a nightmare. The time my parents finally come, a freaking super power outage all the way to Yuma Arizona pops off. Man was I flipping. I want them to have a good time here you know? Not having to deal with stressful heat or even power outages where we all have to watch no t.v and light candles all damn night. Man, breast feeding in the dark is a bitch. Basically today was a mess. Hopefully tomorrow, good things will happen. I almost bust my top.

My folks being here is nice. I do like talking to my Mom at nights and I love seeing my Dad every day. I missed that. They really love the boobooski, alot.

Tomorrow I go back to Marshalls for the stuff we were about to get before the outage. Thank god! I got great stuff to post. Nothing to special given Im post pardum. And no, Im not one of those show offs who say "look at me" after pregnancy. I think I looks the same pretty much the same though. I will let you ladies be the ones to judge.

Right now, its 2:12 in the morning. I felt like blogging. Greg is sleep to my right, and the little bug is asleep to my left. I watch her a lot. I find myself smiling regardless of whats going on when looking at her. She makes me laugh. And let me tell you, Im learning everything about her. The way she stretches her feet after a good breast pumped meal. The frown she puts on if you snag a kiss on her forehead. Those dark eyes that look up at you from time to time. Even the time I changed her diaper and shit still came out all over my hand after I just completed the diaper task. Her expression was so priceless that I laughed my ass off. I couldn't even be grossed out. She was to hilarious. Im really in to her. I think about her all the time. I check on her alot as well. I have became a Mom. Strange.

But enjoying it.

I feel there is so much to say. Im pretty hungry right now. I could go on forever about the little boobooski. But I wont.

My Dad mentioned something to me tonight. He made an amazing point. He said in his 56 years of living, everything he has been through, had a reason behind it. But in life you have to look closely to see the good in it. There has to be something about situation that is needed. I thought that was pretty deep. My Dad is a intellectual at heart. He made me think about all my situations I sweat over. I will try and see the reason behind it, even though it will be hard.

But alright ladies.

Here she is. Looking over into a crib makes me shake my head twice to realize she is finally here. Im very happy. I think she is, I mean...well, everyone thinks so about their babies but I think she is stunning. She is something else. I love her face, her eyes, her nose, her cheeks, her feet...I love everything. I have no a damn clue who she looks like at all, could not tell you. But she looks amazing to me. Im very happy and jumpy that she is in my life. I adore her.

I had a c-section.

Which was awesome, because, no pain was given at all. Yeah I know I gotta heal but, I have no problem with that. I'll do what I got to do. Everything went smoothly.

Me and her.

We already do so much together. We nap together, eat together, stare at each other. She smiles at me from time to time. I smile back. She loves laying near my heart and loves to be cradled all the time. Which is awesome because I love giving her attention and she loves the attention given. I like seeing her around. I want so much for her. I am breastfeeding and pumping away. I love giving her myself, in anyway I can. I think this is the Mom in me coming out. Because she is my reason. I love how she is like Greg. Calm, gentle, but when she craps n herself she becomes mad like me and neurotic until she gets changed. Every time it makes me laugh.

We have this thing were we don't have to sit down and plan who is doing what or why.It just happens and it works. I take Kylie at night most of the time because I literally don't sleep, but Greg is a huge sleeper, so I take that load off if she needs anything. I even wake up at 4 just to feed her. And he during the day bottle feeds her and gives the nips a break and changes her more near the afternoon...it just....

My folks are coming into town today. All the way from Maryland. Im a little paranoid, given the place still isn't were it needs to be. But hey, there here to see the boobooski...

As for fashion.

Your girl is coming back. I will have more video and photos of new mom life of course, and slowly after my bikini cut heals, I will be back in some fashion. MWAH!
